Kaabil 2017 Movie Box-Office Collection Day 7

Kaabil is hanging o well at the Box office with Rs. 6.10 crore more coming in. Tuesday was its seventh day in theatres and true sense; the film has completed its one week since release.  The total so far is Rs. 79.60 crore and there are two more days for the film to collect before it steps into second week.

Kaabil collects 6.10 crore on Tuesday Day 7

Earlier, Kaabil collected Rs Rs 13.11 crore, Rs 15.61 crore and Rs 15.05 crore on Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively. Kaabil is also doing decent business in overseas market. The film has collected Rs 6.19 lakhs from 24 screens in Australia and Rs 5.48 lakh from 14 screens in New Zealand. The manipulation talk is everywhere in the industry. As we are tracking the collection as per our own samples so it is better that we also post our estimates so you can get a better idea of the trend.

Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil has received a decent response at the box office so far, say trade experts. The film will recover the costs however crossing the 100 crore seems to be an uphill task. Take a look at Kaabil collection report for Tuesday.

Meanwhile, there are reports that Kaabil has been leaked online. Rakesh Roshan is shocked and said piracy is damaging the movie-making business in a report published in Bollywood Hungama. “Unethical practises that are killing the movie business can stop only when those perpetrating these illegal activities understand the gravity of their misdeeds and realize how damaging piracy is to our movie-making business. That said, the collections would have been stronger had this been a solo.

Kaabil Story

When they get hitched, visually-impaired couple Rohan Bhatnagar (Hrithik) and Supriya Sharma (Yami) light up each other’s lives. Unfortunately their dark world goes topsy-turvy when Supriya is raped and Rohan finds the policemen playing blind man’s bluff.

“Pyar andha hota hai suna tha, par andho ko bhi pyar hota hai pehli baar dekh raha hoon,” says Amit (Rohit Roy). Despite how crass it sounds and is used to drive Amit’s personality home, he echoes many of the people of his type, if one can classify them as a type. The ‘perfectly normal’ people of the world are anything but so. That is what director Sanjay Gupta’s Kaabil tries to show his audience. While he has bankable performers in the Roy brothers, Rohit and Ronit, it is his hero who takes all the applause.

The film feels too good to be true after a certain point. Sanjay Gupta tries and tells his story well. There are several hitches that the viewer needs to deal with in this ride that he or she embarks on, much like Gupta’s protagonist. Kaabil is extremely stretched, several scenes are forced, several others out of place. The remixed Saara Zamana has absolutely no business being in the film.

From the recovery perspective, the film is safe and while it would be a plus affair eventually, the potential was certainly there to bring in even higher numbers and turn out to be a bigger success. Nonetheless, since there is another open week ahead, there is scope to add on more numbers and all eyes are on how it all turns out for Kaabil before Jolly LLB 2 arrives on February 10.
